Following preliminary studies, the mould is set by defining the structure of the movements, the injection system and the conditioning system, using the best available technologies. During this stage careful assessment is also done with virtual 3D models (also animated) to verify the functionality of the project and avoid any interference or uncoupling.
Accurate mould design reduces deformation, shortens cycle times and increases mould fidelity. Great attention is paid to the choice of materials and the processing of stamped parts and movements, to guarantee maximum durability of the mould, especially in the case of reinforced and loaded materials. Every mould has a use and maintenance manual with plans for scheduled and preventative maintenance.
